| My Personal Testimony: |
|
Hello, my name is Baruch. I was born in Russia. I want to write to you the testimony of my life, as the Lord called me to him. I was born into a family of Jews. My mother was a refugee from Belarus. During the war she and her mother escaped from the Germans. My mother was only one year, when the war began. My dad lived in the Orenburg region, and there they met, or rather the Lord did so, because everything in this world happens by His will. Amen. Our family had five children. I was born last, and Praise the Lord last shall be first. I was very nervous child, because my mom probably irritated when she was pregnant with me. Once we went with my mom at the funeral of a grandfather, and I told my mother: "Mama, what you can do something to not die?" And my mom said to me: "Do not think about it you're still young." But I always thought that there is something that will give me life. Praise the Lord, that we are created in His image and likeness and we have a particle of him. Once, when I was 9 years old, I rode my bike and meet me was the guy who said: "give me a lift," and I answered him: "Sit down." I sat on the frame of a bicycle, and we rolled with great speed down the hill. I told him: "the brakes there turn, but he is not hindered. And in turn we skidded and my leg hit the wheel, and I flew over the handlebars of the bicycle and heavily hit his head on the ground and lost consciousness. I came home, and I probably lay there for several hours until I brought home. Thank God I'm not broke do not one stone. At age 16 I started drinking vodka with friends and smoking cigarettes. I pulled the worldly life. At night I could not sleep, but during the day I was at home suffering from a hangover. I have been told all my friends: "Drink, anyway - once you live, but it was a lie of this world. Many people because of alcohol died. I think I will soon in the army and really I do not live to see the army. I do not want to drink and walk, but I still went there in the flesh, which leads us into the dirt. I'm up to the army drank heavily every day and then they took me into the army. I'm up to the army, heard about the Lord, that Jesus was the son of God and was crucified for us, but I do not take it for granted. In the army I was heavy because of hazing. I realized that for the sins that I have done in Russia, I was punished. And I prayed to the Lord that He gave me the strength to overcome the army and return home after the service. The army mom sent me a cross, and I always wore it around his neck. I was one Jew in the whole ship. Maybe so they beat me stronger than others. After the army I returned home and started drinking again. This went on for two years, and sometimes we anasha and smoked cannabis. Then after 2 years, my mother died, and my father began to chase me out of the house. After the death of my mother, I saw that everything in the house rested on her hands. What kind of curse began to spread in the house. Neighbors soon began to steal from us. Later, I found old letters from my uncle, and wrote to him as it is. Some time later I received a reply from him and it was addressed to my cousin in Israel, and I wrote her a letter. She wrote to me that there is a move to Israel is free, and I realized that this was my chance to change their lives. I went to Moscow and on the way, I made a promise to the Lord: "If you help me get there, then I will go to church." I arrived in Moscow and was late in the Israeli embassy. I had to spend the night at the station. It was cold because it was winter. In the morning I went to the Israeli embassy and gave a statement that I want to go to Israel for permanent residence. I waited 4 hours and then called me and said: "Sir, you can go. Good luck. I took the passport with a visa and went to sohnud, where tickets were given to Israel. I was looking for him, but could not find the house number 15 on the street Presnensky shaft. There was only 14 and 16 house and 15 no. Then I was approached by one man and said: "You are looking for a house number 15? Come, I'll show him" and he showed it to me. This house was located inside the courtyard, so it was not visible. In this day and I made my visa and tickets. This miracle of God that He helped me so. That evening I returned to the station and realized that I was again sleeping on the cold station, as I again missed the train. I bought a ticket and went to take the place, fortunately I was allowed to rise to the 2nd floor, and there was warm, albeit on the bench, I lay down and fell asleep. The next morning I woke up and rode the train home. Two weeks later I had to go back to Moscow and Israel. I arrived at the station in the city Busuluk and understood by the cashier that there is no train to Moscow. Some time later I went again, and she said to me: "There is a train and then transfer to the city of Samara. I say: "Okay." I rode up to Moscow and then flew to Israel. How cool promised land. Amen. I was so glad that God brought me out of the house of bondage and brought into the land flowing with milk and honey. I rejoiced warmth and beauty of Israel and the palms, I could not see them in Russia ever. I then came to live in the city of Tiberias in northern Israel. The first three months I did not know where is the church. I was tormented conscience, because I promised the Lord that I'm going to church. Praise the Lord, He is at the mercy of his brother sent me a believer, and I then went to church. A year later I repented and took water baptism, and began to grow in our Lord. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. I want to serve my Lord. Praise the Lord for His love and mercy to us, for that He chooses us and protect us and loves us even when we were unbelievers, and leads us to His glory. Praise Him for the priceless gift of salvation and forgiveness of sins. Praise him for the price that He paid for us. And because He loved us and sent Jesus Christ, his son, so we were saved, and for eternal life. The greatness and glory of our Lord and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Amen. Hallelujah. |
